Comfort Through the Pain

Many people won’t get it. Maybe they think God owes them for how really, really good they’ve been.

But they haven’t.

Job got it. He said, “Though he slay me; yet I will hope in him.” (Job 13:15).

Something to think about. We are guaranteed nothing, but can only rest on the promises of God in our darkest times. Promises we all need at one time or another — some more than others, but need nonetheless.

I’ve always liked this version of this song.

May God’s peace rest on you…
