Many people won’t get it. Maybe they think God owes them for how really, really good they’ve been.
But they haven’t.
Job got it. He said, “Though he slay me; yet I will hope in him.” (Job 13:15).
Something to think about. We are guaranteed nothing, but can only rest on the promises of God in our darkest times. Promises we all need at one time or another — some more than others, but need nonetheless.
I’ve always liked this version of this song.
