A nice day, and a great opportunity to get out. I couldn’t pass it up, even if it was only for a short trip. I’ve been a bit philosophical lately, wondering about the day when I might never be able to go out again at all, so this really helped. I’m out of shape, i’ve gained about five pounds over the holidays, and I’ve been cooped up with an injury for over a month now.
The short trip means I don’t have much to say or show for it, but it still counts. And you’ve got to admit too — the winter landscape here gets a bit brown and dull for pictures.
