Saturday 63: Daring Ch’eonan

We dared Ch’eonan to ruin our day, and it backed down. Had a wonderful time, although I’m a bit worn out and still getting ready for a bit of a trip. The ride today included some hills, and the payoff was worth it. A nice, long descent through a beautiful valley, and then the knowledge that we wouldn’t be climbing too much after that. Nice.

Not much else to say today. It’s a real treat exploring with this crew. Not only do we see things that so many people miss, we enjoy each other’s company enough that we actually talk a lot more than we pedal sometimes…

Today’s profile. Fairly flat but for the obvious bumps…
Early morning…under a bridge.
Pretty much checks all the boxes…even if “buger” is a bit suspect.
Out of the tunnel at the top of the climb.
The lake in the beautiful valley.
Hey, we’ve been here before…quite recently.
The crew, heading home…
First of the year. It’s harvest time…
