Saturday 77: Olympic Lotte

Like I said in a recent post — I’m really going to wrap it up this year with the long rides. Cold weather gets tough on one’s bones and joints, and I’m not getting younger.

But I know someone who’s leaving Korea soon, and who’s never ridden to Seoul, so I put together an interesting route that would take us past Olympic Park, Lotte Tower and Lotte World, and Olympic [Ch’am-sil] Stadium. Yeah, it was 77 miles, but mostly flat and easy.

Then the bum backed out. And I should have known better — he’s notorious for doing that.

But someone else asked to go, so I went ahead and did it anyway. And it was great…
