I didn’t think today would be much of a day for riding. Sure, it was going to be sunny and not all too cold, temperature-wise. But there was a wind. And it’s bad enough riding into a wind any time, but when the wind is below zero (celsius), I would expect it to be especially unpleasant.
And it was to some extent, but survivable. You know, headwinds are generally only for half the ride. Best to have that half on the front end. It makes for a better return, and so you get back in a better mood.
