Well, I’m sure I could get out, but I think the poor air quality this weekend gives me a good chance to take a bit of a break. Not much, but it’ll be the first weekend I haven’t gone out and done some hefty miles.
And since one of my main objectives is to get the pictures I can share with everyone else, it’s just as well. When the air gets like this, you can’t see more than a few miles very well, and it all turns into a dull, throbbing fogginess that more often than not just adds to the headache you’re getting from the air. Definitely not picture-taking material.
So I guess that’s one way to put a good spin on it.
But I’m telling you — next week it’s got to be happening again. It absolutely has to.
Yuck.
