I knew it’d be warm today. Hot, actually. My weather app told me 90 degrees by 11. It was short by a degree. So we had to get out early — 0430 in hopes of getting home before it got out of hand.
It’s one of my least favorite things, riding in excessive heat. So I knew I’d have to keep up on hydration (as usual, I didn’t fare too well), and take breaks when I needed. This would extend the ride a bit, and I ended up finishing around 1130.
It was hot.
