Recommendation: Truth for Life

Alistair Begg

I can’t remember when I started listening to podcasts — it’s been years, and I’m sure thousands of episodes of a wide variety. And they come and go.

But the one that’s stuck with me for years is Truth for Life, a podcast of the sermons of Alistair Begg, a pastor in Cleveland. Other than the fact that he’s Scottish and his voice is so interesting, his style and material is excellent — easy to relate, easy to understand, and right on target. It’s my go-to Sunday listening (when I just want to spend the day resting). I usually get through a week’s worth of episodes throughout the day. I stopped downloading and saving my favorites long ago, but I’ve got quite a library, and if course, there’s the podcast. If there were one Christian sermon podcast I’d recommend above the others, this one would be it.

You can get it at truthforlife.org, or on iTunes or anywhere else you can get podcasts.
