New rule. No riding when the “feels like” temperature tops 100.
This morning, that was supposed to be at nine. The past two weekends have taught us that we’re just not up for the high temps like we used to be. I’ve said plenty that I started my BCFBs back in 2017 for just such a reason — no desire to ride in the Korean summer afternoons.
Even so, the rides are still fun and adventurous. But, true to the weather forecast, it was near unbearable in the direct sun by about nine. To paraphrase Joon — “it was the right call to cut it off and go home.”
So there you have it — the new rule. The weather is supposed to break in a week or so, so there won’t be many chances for it to get too hot for much longer. But until then, we’ll be getting out as early as we practically can.
Not many pictures today…
