Went out for Chicken…

After a couple of weeks under the weather, I’ve been out twice this week — once for my first BCFB of the year, and now today, for a little longer. Not yet up to my 60s, 70s, or 80s; but a decent ride (about 42 miles). And, as what usually happens on these solo rides, I enjoyed the meandering detours and time alone. And it helped immensely that the weather was absolutely beautiful and improved (along with the air quality) throughout the ride.

Then I threw it all away on fried chicken and beer for dinner…

At the 3.1 Monument
Almost time to plant the rice
Tree-lined Lane
The bridge over Gosam Reservoir is getting there…
Nice to get off the beaten path…
Trees are showing their green
A new glamping ground…
I pondered the crossing for a while, then did it.
This crossing not well maintained. A few stones askew, which made carrying a bike across a bit challenging.
More off the beaten path
Picked up a chicken and a half on the way home
