It was one of those days that had to happen. A good morning at church, a minor errand, and then the promise of a drive somewhere pretty. Just had to get out of the house for a while. I even suggested taking the pup with us — not something I normally do because she whines and momma yells at her…which just happens to be right in my ear. But she settles down.
Today I had one of those daydream moments that told me to head south/southwest. There’s a town called Yesan down that way, and a beautiful, big reservoir with a unique pedestrian suspension bridge south of that (I’m going to ride down and around it sometime this year I think — should be about a hundred miles). It was cold, and I still wasn’t able to go to any restaurants, but it was a worth the trip anyway.
I’m put in mind of this because I got a picture out of it that I liked. The sky was right. The snow was right. The colors really worked for me. So I’m just going to leave you with that.
It was one of the good days…

It’s so beautiful!!
