Sunday in Suwon

It was a pretty nice day, although the dust was a bit up. Still, well worth the ride. And Suwon has always been one of my favorite places. A lot of history, but, as you’ll see in the pictures, a bit bustling today.

I revisited the same places though — Paldalmun through Gyeonggi University. Took a bit of a detour, and then got off track because the World Cup stadium distracted me, but in the end, got back on track. Had a few other detours and bad turns that didn’t kill me, but it certainly wasn’t one of my better rides as far as navigation goes. And I know my way around up there pretty well, so getting turned around isn’t easy. Did nearly 40 miles, which is a decent winter ride. I’m going to have to plan a route that takes me somewhere completely different (but still in Suwon) next time.

The streets of Suwon — looking toward Paldal Gate
So busy I had to look through busses to see the gate up close
And weave through people getting off of those busses. Actually, we just waited.
And the bell.
