It wasn’t Saturday…

You may recall my motto, “Saturdays are for 70s” from the rides I’ve done over the past few weekends. But today wasn’t Saturday…it was Sunday. So I did 80.

For today’s ride, I did a climb up near Seoul that I’ve driven a few times — Namhansanseong.

Namhansanseong (literally South Han Mountain Fortress) is a cultural heritage site built on a mountain Southeast of Seoul. Considering how much I love history, I found it quite interesting. During my ride, I only hit a couple of sites quite close to the road, but I think next time I get up there I’m going to spend the better part of a morning poking around and hiking the wall.

So here’s the Relive video for you, followed by a few more pictures of the ride. It was all quite good.

Just a bit after 5. I took the picture mainly to show how calm it was, with the steam going straight up.
The morning streets around Dongtan were still pretty quiet when I passed through.

The ride home was on a path beside the river that comes from Yongin.
