A good thing about Russia…

Alright, you should know I’m a huge fan of Beethoven. My absolute favorite classical composer. Personally, I don’t think anyone else is close. But outside of Beethoven I guess I could settle for Tchaikovsky. 

I’ve never been a huge fan of Russia. But when it comes to music, Tchaikovsky nails it. His style is Russia, and his music is beautiful and powerful. Most everyone knows the Nutcracker. When it comes to ballet, I love Swan Lake. But his best piece – and oddly, one he hated – is his 1812 Overture. I don’t think you can find a more powerful piece of music. With cannons…
