Finished taping the bars and I am quite pleased (as pleased as one can be without having ridden yet) with the result. Actually read through reviews and ratings and came up with Supacaz Super Sticky Kush Tape for this — about three times as expensive as my last tape (although it’s down to $32 on Amazon right now).
So when I put it on this morning, I was being especially careful about it. I wanted to be sure any disappointment I might’ve had would be with the quality of the tape and not the job anyone did putting it on the bars.
So now it comes down to a good test ride or two and then we’ll see…
